In-Kind Donations for Your Volunteer Placement

If you are volunteering in Nepal and would like to bring donated supplies, please contact us before your trip. Needs vary by placement, and we can let you know which items would be most useful at the time.

Whenever possible, we encourage volunteers to bring needed, practical items that have been requested by the school or community rather than collecting items that may not be useful locally.

Common needs may include:

• School supplies, backpacks, pens and pencils
• Children’s warm clothing, shoes and warm jackets
• Children’s books and educational materials
• English-language teaching resources
• First-aid and basic medical supplies
• Sports equipment, games and toys
• Musical instruments
• Laptops, tablets and other useful educational technology

 

Donating or Shipping Items

If you would like to ship donated items, please contact us first for current needs, shipping information and any applicable restrictions. International shipping can be expensive, and in most cases purchasing supplies locally in Nepal may be more practical and beneficial.

Financial contributions are also greatly appreciated and can help cover shipping costs or allow our team in Nepal to purchase what is needed, where it is needed.
