Bringing Needed Items (Volunteers Going to Nepal)

In-Kind Donations for your volunteer placement

If you are volunteering and you would like to bring donations, please Contact Us us for needs specific to your placement.

If you wish to ship any items to SE Asia, please see the list below and email us for addresses, shipping regulations, and other considerations.

If you simply wish to provide a monetary donation to cover shipping costs for items already being sent, this too would be greatly appreciated as we infrequently ship some items.

These are the most common items needed at our placements:

  • School supplies; pens & pencils sets, backpacks
  • Warm jackets for children of all ages
  • Clothing and shoes
  • English as a second language teaching DVDs, CDs, books, teaching aids, etc
  • First Aid kits and medical supplies
  • Any children’s books in English
  • Musical instruments
  • Global cell phones
  • Old digital cameras
  • Sports equipment
  • Any games and toys
  • Laptops to help us teach English, computer classes, world geography, history, science, etc

There is now a computer lab set up in 2012, for staff or volunteers to work on or for the children’s in-class instruction. It would be a great help if you have any possibility of organizing a laptop to donate to the schools or child centers we work with, or provide video or audio equipment for classroom instruction.

If you wish to donate items, or make a financial donation either for shipping costs, for sponsorship of a child, or for items which can then be purchased by the chairman in Nepal, please let us know and we can help to facilitate this. Please contact us us for more information or please donate today.
